Christopher D. Layton – Founding Attorney
Christopher D. Layton is the founder of The Layton Law Firm. He holds a B.A. in Journalism from The University of Maryland at College Park and a J.D. from Wake Forest University. He has been practicing law in Charlotte since 2000 and is admitted to the North Carolina Bar Association, as well as the Federal Bar Association of the Western District of North Carolina. He is a member NC State Bar and the Mecklenburg Bar. Chris lives with his wife Genevieve, a native of Concord, NC, and their two children who are students in the Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools system, plus the favorite family member, a yellow lab named “Fisher.” When Chris isn’t practicing law, he enjoys hiking and stand-up comedy.
